Michelle Alimboyoguen

Michelle began her massage career in 2001 when she graduated from Kauai Community College, as a Professional Massage Therapist in her home state of Hawaii. In 2003 she started to work at ANARA Spa – Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa and was pleased to stay until the summer of 2012 at which time she opened her own day spa Zensations Massage Therapy, which she still currently operates. During the years of 2003 – 2017 Michelle studied Hot Stone Massage, LaStone Therapy, Lomi Lomi, Thai Massage and Medical Massage Therapy, adding a vast range of modalities to her personal practice and teaching abilities. During this time Michelle studied with Mary Nelson to become an instructor for LaStone Therapy. She was our only certified LaStone instructor in Hawaii between the years of 2008 – 2014. From 2011 – 2015 Michelle taught her own style of Lomi Stone. After this she experienced great pleasure in working at Alexander Day Spa – Marriot Beach Cabana until December of 2016 when it became necessary for her to slow down and focus on family after their house burned down. Since then she has been offering private sessions in her day spa Zensations Massage Therapy.

 

In Michelle’s private practice she is dedicated to providing clients with a feeling of rejuvenation, relaxation and a deep internal healing response that the client carries with them for many days.  Michelle has excellent communicational skills, enjoys being efficient and teaching others how to make their job run smoother. She works well with students and clients alike and helps to make their day entertaining. Her willingness to learn enhances her abilities as an excellent choice as an educator. She is passionate and enthusiastic about stone massage and is outstanding in helping students to gain an insight into the power of ‘Stone Dancing’. Students can rely on her to guide them each step of the way.
