In this course students will learn how to choose various temperatures ranging from 130º to 27º which will gently and safely challenge the body to chemically respond to the alternating temperatures as they are massaged on and around the client’s body throughout the stone session.
There will be an introduction to Chakra Balancing by way of stone placement. Lectures, demonstrations and hands-on experience with the various temperatures of the stones will be experienced by each of the therapist throughout the course. It is vital that each therapist walks away from this course with a working understanding of the power of geo-thermal-therapy as it applies to stone massage and stone placement.
Sanitation, disinfecting and proper care and handling of the stones and equipment are followed properly each day to ensure a germ free environment.
Trades between the therapists will be a part of the daily learning experience along with Q&A following each trade and lecture periods. There is a multiple choice test on the last day of class and discussion to follow so that all questions are addressed and clearly understood by each therapist prior to the class conclusion.
